Job Overview

Avancer Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales Representative that is energized and has innovative ideas that will help advance the company’s position in the cyber security sector. The successful candidate will be results oriented, eager to learn and is driven to succeed as there will be responsibilities across multiple aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the Sales of the company’s services and products with prospects utilizing phone, email,
    and/or social media networks
  • Develop meaningful relationships with clients to promote trust and loyalty
  • Generate prospective clients through cold calling and follow up on warm leads to advance the
    sales process
  • Qualify and nurture leads within the company’s requirements
  • Direct qualified leads to the sales team for closure
  • Develop a sales strategy and set sales targets
  • Consult with IT developers and management on product offerings
  • Identify marketing opportunities to develop sales leads
  • Assess potential clients’ IT needs and recommend services
  • Prepare and execute sales pitches and service demonstrations
  • Negotiate sales and service renewal contracts
  • Initiate after-sales technical support based on client requirements and feedback
  • Track sales targets and document sales performance metrics
  • Ensure competitiveness by analyzing and researching industry trends
  • Keep informed on technical product specifications and functionalities

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or another related field
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in an Consulting Sales environment

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills are needed in order work
    successfully with prospects, customers, and cross functional teams to meet performance goals
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a
    customer facing environment
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing and sales strategies
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate IT product specifications and functionalities
  • Advanced proficiency in IT industry terminology and jargon
  • Ability to liaise with management and IT developers about sales strategies
  • Exceptional ability in negotiating sales deals, contracts, and service agreements
  • Ability to evaluate client feedback and provide after-sales service
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer behavior, as well as industry trends and innovation
